The Coleman Foundation Announces Second Quarter 2018 Entrepreneurship Education Grants
In the second quarter of 2018, the Coleman Foundation approved grants totaling $496,628 to non-profit organizations to advance its Developmental Disabilities Impact Plan. Among those receiving grants in this program area are:

$173,500 – Aspire Career Academy
The award is to support the Aspire Career Academy which prepares individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities for employment opportunities with collaborating businesses.
Clearbrook, IL
$173,128 – Building Supportive Workplace Cultures
The award is for a collaborative training program for supervisory staff employed by several disability service providers to address one of the leading reasons why direct service providers (DSPs) leave employment.
University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry, IL
$150,000 – Pediatric Dentistry Ambulatory Surgery Center
The award is to support the development of a Pediatric Dentistry Ambulatory Surgery Center with general anesthesia suites and procedure rooms to enable the College to expand dental care for children under general anesthesia.
