The Coleman Foundation’s Response to the COVID-19 Epidemic

The Coleman Foundation cares deeply about the health, safety and well-being of our grantees and those they serve in our community. We want to provide an update concerning the Foundation’s response to COVID-19 epidemic, recognizing that it is a very fluid situation.

We are committed to providing the best support possible while safeguarding the health of our staff and their families. For the present, our staff will be working remotely and will not be participating in face-to-face meetings. Staff are available to communicate with grantees via e-mail.  Please see our website for their contact information.

The Coleman Foundation is committed to helping our grantees through this crisis. Staff are contacting some grantees to see what their needs and issues are, and how the Foundation might help them weather this pandemic. We invite grantee organizations to contact a staff member to share immediate needs and issues to aid in understanding the current moment. We will be developing our response in coming weeks based on what we are learning.
